Sodbury Players are gearing up for their next production, 'The Lady in the Van' by Alan Bennett, Running from May 22 to May 25 at Chipping Sodbury Town Hall, this captivating performance promises to be an unforgettable show.

Based on real events, 'The Lady in the Van' tells the touching story of the unlikely bond between Miss Shepherd, an eccentric homeless woman, and playwright Alan Bennett, as she parks her dilapidated van in his driveway and proceeds to inhabit the space for the next fifteen years.

As their lives intertwine, Bennett discovers the complexities of compassion, friendship, and the human condition.

Directed by Lizzie Abbott-Davies in her debut, the production brings Bennett's timeless tale to life with humour and heart.
