A MAN has been sentenced after committing vehicle crimes in the Stroud area.
Ian Kingston, aged 36, of Court Meadows, Stone, Berkeley, pleaded guilty to two counts of stealing from vehicles in Stroud.
Both incidents occurred on January 5, when he stole cash and a hammer axe multitool from one vehicle and £15 in cash from another.
Kingston also admitted interfering with a Volkswagen Transporter in Stroud between December 6 and December 9 last year.
He also admitted theft by finding where he stole a child’s scooter on January 27.
Kingston previously denied all offences and a trial was set for May.
The case was heard at Cheltenham Magistrates Court on February 7.
Kingston was ordered to pay £15 in compensation plus £10 in costs - a total of £25.
He was also ordered to take part in rehabilitation activity for ten days.
